Develop and enhance BASE24-eps applications, focusing on new interface creation such as Mastercard integrations. Responsibilities include building interfaces for authorization, switching, routing, and settlement processes. You will implement and ensure compliance with card scheme mandates (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.), and integrate/support various payment interfaces. Translating scheme bulletins into technical modifications within BASE24-eps modules and troubleshooting authorization and transaction issues are key aspects of this role. Support end-to-end testing, including certification and regression cycles, and coordinate effectively with QA, infrastructure, and client teams. Prepare necessary technical documentation and deployment procedures.
This role requires a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with BASE24-eps, including AFT, OLF, ONL, TLF modules, and related components. A strong background in implementing card scheme mandates (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, Discover) is essential. You should possess a solid understanding of payment message formats like ISO 8583, proprietary formats, and host interfaces, alongside proficiency in C++, Mainframe, Linux, MQ, or XPNET. Experience with real-time transaction systems and high-throughput payment platforms is crucial. Knowledge of authorization flows, EMV processing, issuer/acquirer concepts, and settlement is required. Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills are necessary for effectively interacting with scheme partners and client stakeholders. The ability to work independently in distributed and remote teams is also important.
