This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of critical data, supporting business continuity through robust backup and recovery strategies. The analyst will work collaboratively with various teams to meet data backup and retention requirements.

Key responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise backup systems such as Commvault, Veeam, IBM Spectrum Protect, NetBackup, Networker, and DataDomain. You will manage daily backup operations, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and conduct regular restore testing. The role also involves administering backend storage, optimizing backup policies, and ensuring compliance with data retention and security standards.

Furthermore, the analyst will collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for capacity planning and backup coverage. Incident management, change management execution, and creating system operation reports are also integral to this position. Engaging with stakeholders to define and implement data backup solutions is a key aspect of the role.

A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency with enterprise backup software like Commvault, Veeam, IBM Spectrum Protect, NetBackup, Networker, and DataDomain is essential. Experience in managing backend storage and Data Domain infrastructure is necessary.
