Key responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault, Veeam, and IBM Spectrum Protect. You will manage daily backup operations, perform root cause analysis for failures, and conduct regular restore testing to support recovery efforts.

The role also involves maintaining and optimizing backup policies, schedules, and storage targets. You will administer backend storage and Data Domain infrastructure, ensuring high availability and robust data protection across diverse environments. Collaboration with infrastructure and application teams is crucial for effective backup coverage and capacity planning.

This position requires 5-6 years of relevant experience in backup systems administration. A strong understanding of industry-leading IT Asset Management tools like ServiceNow is essential. You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service and analytical thinking.

Familiarity with ITIL practices is expected. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven, capable of performing incident and change management. You will also be responsible for creating and managing capacity and trending reports, and working with stakeholders to define and implement data backup solutions.
