Seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust cloud solutions. This role focuses on leveraging Azure services to build scalable and secure data platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and their application in reporting, AI, and machine learning initiatives. Expertise in architectural best practices and translating business needs into technical strategies is essential.

Design and deploy secure, highly available cloud solutions on Azure, including estimation for AWS and Azure. Implement and manage Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse for data integration and processing. Ensure seamless integration of diverse data sources with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes. Develop data lakes and warehouses tailored for reporting, AI, and machine learning applications.

Collaborate closely with clients to grasp business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Establish and enforce cloud governance policies and best practices. Proactively identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Facilitate knowledge sharing and provide training on cloud technologies to clients and internal teams.

A minimum of 14 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years specifically as an Azure Data Architect. Proficiency in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and PySpark is mandatory. Strong architectural experience is required.

Demonstrated experience with data modeling and data architecture concepts. Ability to articulate the advantages and disadvantages of various technologies and platforms. Experience integrating disparate data sources into a Data Warehouse and Data Lake environment is crucial. Experience in building Data Warehouses and Data Lakes for reporting, AI, and machine learning purposes is essential.
