As a Principal Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, configuring, deploying, and managing robust IAM solutions, with a strong emphasis on AWS. Your responsibilities will include engineering IAM solutions across authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and identity lifecycle management, utilizing protocols like OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML. You will also be involved in developing scalable and resilient cloud-based IAM architectures, ensuring strong working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles and actively contributing to API and microservices development.

Key tasks involve hands-on configuration of ForgeRock COTS based IAM solutions and extensive use of AWS services for security and infrastructure. You will also play a role in implementing Infrastructure as Code and containerization practices, ensuring the security and operational excellence of our cloud environments. Collaboration on DevSecOps initiatives and open-source contributions will be integral to the role.

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and running ForgeRock COTS based IAM solutions (PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, PingDS). A deep understanding of IAM engineering principles, including authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, identity lifecycle management, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and policy management, is essential.

Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, and Python, coupled with comfort in API and microservices development, is required. A strong working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles and extensive cloud computing experience, particularly with AWS, is mandatory. Experience with Azure is a plus. Desirable skills include experience in DevSecOps, knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tooling like Chef, and familiarity with containerization and biometric system design.
