Seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Sr. Architect to drive critical DC transformation initiatives. This role involves analyzing existing environments, right-sizing for the future, and designing/implementing robust solutions on the public cloud, specifically AWS. The focus is on seamless migration and transformation of virtual and physical infrastructure.

This position requires a strategic thinker capable of translating complex business and non-functional requirements into comprehensive IT infrastructure designs. The architect will be instrumental in creating and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions to meet client objectives.

Design and implement infrastructure solutions on AWS for data center transformation. Analyze and assess current environments for optimization and cloud readiness. Craft infrastructure migration strategies, principles, and detailed design documents for public cloud environments. Develop and deploy cloud-based Disaster Recovery solutions. Ensure the implementation of appropriate IT best practices and security measures.

Evaluate and recommend optimal infrastructure solutions to facilitate seamless business service migration. Lead discussions and provide technical expertise during project execution. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and translate them into actionable technical designs.

A minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud build projects, cloud migration, and Active Directory migration. Proven ability to understand business needs and translate them into efficient, cost-effective solutions. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible (minimum 6 years). Proficiency in shell scripting and hybrid cloud setups, including network integrations. Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud services, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory).

Experience with FinOps assessment and Landing Zone creation using AWS CAF is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to lead technical discussions effectively.
