Seeking a senior technical lead to architect and drive our test automation initiatives. This role focuses on defining and implementing advanced automation strategies across web and desktop platforms.

Leverage your expertise in tools like Playwright and TypeScript to build robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks. You will be instrumental in evaluating new technologies and recommending AI-assisted automation approaches to enhance our quality engineering practices.

Develop and own end-to-end test automation architecture for web and desktop applications. Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript. Establish and enforce automation standards, best practices, coding guidelines, and governance models. Evaluate applications to recommend optimal tools, frameworks, and AI-driven automation solutions. Create reusable automation components, utilities, libraries, and reporting mechanisms.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in test automation is required, with at least 3 years specifically with Microsoft Playwright. Proficiency in TypeScript is mandatory, including deep understanding of its advanced features for framework development. Extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining Playwright frameworks, covering aspects like fixtures, locators, assertions, parallel execution, and reporting. Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise-scale, hybrid, and modular test automation frameworks. Familiarity with self-healing automation concepts and dynamic locator recovery. Experience applying prompt engineering for test design, data generation, defect analysis, and automation development. Proven ability to integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Strong understanding of test strategy, planning, estimation, and identifying automation candidates. Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
