You will ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables while expertly managing daily engagement operations.

Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of work according to EY methodology. Develop strong relationships with engagement team counterparts in the Americas and Europe. Embed EY's Risk Management procedures into engagement work and facilitate the smooth transition of new engagements to GDS Assurance. Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, monitor performance, and maintain team utilization and budget adherence. Champion professionalism and clear communication, fostering positive relationships within GDS and engagement teams.

To excel in this role, you should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience or a Qualified ACCA/CPA with 7-8 years of relevant experience. Articleship with a top or mid-tier accounting firm is essential. Experience within a mid- or top-tier accounting firm focused on external assurance reviews, or with MNCs/large Indian companies, preferably in a Shared Service environment, is highly valued. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is required, along with a keen interest in business and commerciality. Expertise in Indian accounting and assurance standards is mandatory, with knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, or International assurance standards being a significant advantage.
