This Associate Vice President role within the Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) and Strategy and Transactions (SaT) practice is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to reshaping portfolios and reinventing for the future. The AMI industry market encompasses Aerospace and Defence, Chemicals, Infrastructure, Industrial Products, Automotive, and Transportation sectors, focusing on how clients navigate a rapidly evolving business landscape.

The SaT - S&E - Deal Management team assists clients with their toughest strategic, financial, operational, and commercial questions using our Capital Agenda framework. We support a diverse range of clients, including corporates, private equity, governments, and educational institutions, in optimizing capital allocation and managing risk/return trade-offs through our Connected Capital Solutions.

You will be instrumental in managing end-to-end engagement delivery with a focus on high quality and timely outcomes. This role involves leading the execution of Commercial Due Diligence, Growth and Diversification strategies, and Business Transformation engagements for private equity and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities include spearheading business development initiatives such as crafting pitch documents and industry notes, and cultivating robust client relationships to ensure service excellence and repeat business. You will be expected to demonstrate deep industry and functional expertise, maintain compliance with firm standards, and contribute to thought leadership by developing knowledge artifacts on relevant sectors.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in analyzing industry dynamics, identifying competitive advantages, and aligning business units to enhance market positioning. The team offers clients support in Business Model Reinvention, New Market Entry Opportunities, and Digital Strategy and Innovation.

To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in Business Strategy, Sales Acceleration, Route to Market, Growth Strategy, Digital Transformation, and Go-To-Market Strategy. Prior experience in delivering business strategy and diligence projects within complex environments is essential.

We are looking for individuals with strong client relationship and account management skills, coupled with excellent written and oral communication abilities. The capacity to develop and customize client-relevant solutions is key. A desire to contribute to a collaborative and challenging environment, strong financial acumen, and clarity on financial concepts are also critical.

Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and research tools such as Power BI/Tableau, Refinitiv, Bloomberg, and EMIS is required. Willingness to travel within India and abroad, exceptional teamwork, and people management skills are necessary. Exposure to Maths, Statistics, Combinatorics & Optimization, and programming languages like R is beneficial. A Master of Business Administration or Chartered Accountant qualification, along with over 5 years of Strategy and Consulting experience and in-depth domain knowledge in Building Material and Industrial sectors, are mandatory.
