Join our dynamic finance team as a Financial Accounting and Reporting Specialist. This pivotal role focuses on managing diverse financial accounting tasks, ensuring precise and punctual financial reporting, and providing crucial support to various business units. The ideal candidate possesses a solid grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and excels in collaborative environments with internal stakeholders.

Key duties involve overseeing intercompany transactions for accurate elimination and reconciliation, preparing statutory financial statements and external reports, and responding to subsidiary financial statement queries. You will also lead month-end and year-end closing processes, manage general ledger period-end activities, and perform/review bank and balance sheet account reconciliations. Responsibilities extend to generating insightful financial reports, ensuring compliance in joint venture accounting, and supporting business units with their financial recording and process improvements. Additionally, manage payroll and treasury accounting, including revaluations, and oversee fixed asset accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. Support tax teams with income tax, GST, and SST accounting, including provisions.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and possess 12-16 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. A strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting practices, and internal controls is essential. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required; ERP system experience is a significant advantage. Success in this role demands keen analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
