Lead the delivery and strategic management of critical Managed Services and Build Operate Transfer (BOT) engagements as the Application Managed Services (AMS) Lead. This pivotal role ensures high-quality execution across AMS and BOT initiatives, fostering operational excellence, client satisfaction, and account growth. Collaboration with account managers, delivery teams, and stakeholders is key. The position requires profound technical and domain knowledge, exceptional leadership, and the ability to align delivery capabilities with evolving client needs and strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities include portfolio leadership, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across diverse projects, and governing delivery across custom applications, packaged solutions, cloud-native, mobile, and web platforms. Driving automation adoption to minimize client escalations and disruptions is paramount, with performance measured on delivery excellence KPIs.

Oversee the delivery of assigned AMS and BOT accounts, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of development, support, and application management projects. Govern delivery across various technologies including custom applications, packaged solutions, cloud-native, mobile, and web platforms. Drive automation adoption within projects to minimize client escalations and disruptions. Build and maintain strong client relationships, developing strategic delivery plans aligned with digital transformation goals and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and transparency. Supervise project teams, ensuring effective prioritization, governance, and management of escalations. Manage the entire application lifecycle, from design and build through to operate and support phases. Collaborate with resource management to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of development and support teams. Mentor and upskill team members to build capabilities aligned with market and technology needs. Define and implement robust governance mechanisms, including review cadences, KPI tracking, and issue/risk logs. Work closely with Transition Managers, Change Management, and Transformation teams for seamless onboarding and continuous improvement.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT application delivery is required, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing application portfolios. Demonstrated hands-on experience in delivering large-scale application services across diverse technology stacks (custom, packaged, SaaS). Proven ability to effectively manage and scale teams across different geographies in an onshore-offshore/hybrid model. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT is mandatory. A postgraduate degree in Management or Technology (MBA/M.Tech) is preferred. Skills in application and domain expertise, strategic delivery leadership, client relationship management, people management, and process governance are essential. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps is expected.
