This Associate role within National TAX CBS - FIN - FP&A Account Support in Mumbai offers a unique opportunity to contribute to globally coordinated tax professionals. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate rapid industry changes by leveraging exceptional knowledge, experience, and advanced technology platforms to drive better business decisions and insights.
Our tax services span Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Global Law, Indirect Tax, International Tax, and Transaction Services. We empower companies to understand global tax policies and laws, ensuring compliance and strategic planning. Our teams utilize transformative technologies for tax strategy, regulatory obligations, operations, and workforce management, aiming to reduce risk and foster sustainable value.
Key responsibilities include managing the complete client and engagement lifecycle. This involves client setup and acceptance, conducting go-to-market research for business development, and performing essential background research for code setup purposes. You will expertly handle Mercury and PACE systems for client setup, OMS and OAR approvals, and the submission of various forms and agreements like ICD forms, ELs, SOWs, MSAs, and PSMs.
Engagement management entails overseeing the engagement lifecycle in Mercury, including setting up engagement codes, updating GST details, and verifying PSMs from overseas offices. You will also monitor WIP/AR status, manage ERP adjustments, and ensure the closure of codes. Subcontracting and issuing work orders are also integral parts of this role.
Furthermore, responsibilities extend to invoicing, including raising draft and final invoices, handling reversals and re-issues, and processing foreign office invoices. Verifying SEZ documents for billing and following up on collections and TDS are crucial. You will also manage overseas payments through OPRS requests, ensure BRET compliance, and adhere to procurement processes for third-party services. Reporting duties include preparing daily, monthly, and weekly reports, analyzing costs, and tracking BU performance against budget.
To excel in this role, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or Master of Commerce (M.Com) is required. We are seeking individuals with 0-2 years of experience who can collaborate effectively across multiple client departments while strictly adhering to commercial and legal mandates.
