As an Associate Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a primary point of contact for customers, providing responsive support via phone, email, or other electronic channels. - Delivering technical assistance by troubleshooting and resolving straightforward issues related to assigned Oracle products. - Collaborating with senior team members to report and support the resolution of routine design, reliability, and maintenance challenges. - Maintaining accurate service request documentation and contributing to the creation of knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides. - Assisting internal teams and stakeholders with various customer scenarios and technical inquiries. - Learning to utilize automation and tooling, such as AI Assistance, to identify the root causes of common problems and suggest process improvements.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical support or related role. - Proficiency in core skills including Change Management, Detail Orientation, Documentation Skills, Impactful Communication, Problem Solving, and SQL. - Experience or a strong aptitude for understanding configuration-related issues and applying corrective changes. - The ability to analyze and investigate problems, document resolutions, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - A proactive approach to communication, keeping clients and teams informed of progress, risks, and dependencies. - A commitment to compliance and adherence to organizational guidelines, quality standards, and SLAs. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices within the ITIL framework.
