This Associate role is within the National Strategy and Transactions (SaT) - Transaction Capabilities and Finance (TCF) - Valuation team in Mumbai. The National team works across various industries, providing a well-rounded experience. The SaT division helps clients reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios, and innovate for a better future. We assist corporations, private equity firms, governments, and educational institutions with critical financial and strategic questions, employing our Capital Agenda framework.

Your primary responsibilities involve demonstrating strong technical expertise in valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. You will be hands-on in building, reviewing, and validating financial and valuation models, ensuring accuracy in assumptions and outputs.

A solid understanding of financial statement analysis and core accounting principles is essential for precise valuation work. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality valuation reports and supporting documentation that present clear, structured, and defensible analysis. Additionally, you'll manage workstreams and coordinate team deliverables for valuation engagements within a consulting setting.

To excel in this role, you must possess a Chartered Accountant qualification. We require 3-5 years of dedicated experience in valuation.
