The opportunity is for an Associate in the National Strategy and Transactions (SaT) - Transaction Corporate Finance (TCF) - M&A Advisory team in Mumbai. This role is part of National, which consists of sector-agnostic teams offering diverse industry experience.

SaT aims to help clients reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios, and reinvent for the future using our Capital Agenda framework. We address complex strategic, financial, operational, and commercial challenges for a wide range of clients, including corporations, private equity firms, governments, and educational institutions. Our expertise spans portfolio review, capital allocation, financial planning analytics, and decision support, enabling better capital allocation and risk/return trade-offs. We offer Connected Capital Solutions (CCS) focused on Strategy, Corporate Finance, Buy and Integrate, Sell and Separate, and Reshaping Results, supported by our Connected Capital Technologies.

Drive technical excellence by applying strong valuation techniques, including DCF-based analysis, to support M&A advisory engagements.

Utilize proficiency in corporate finance and financial analysis to assess transaction feasibility and evaluate business performance.

Demonstrate hands-on understanding of merger and acquisition processes, including deal structuring and providing advisory support.

Prepare accurate and commercially relevant pitch decks and transaction collaterals.

Gain exposure to project management and process coordination for vendor due diligence and transaction documentation, such as Share Purchase Agreements (SPA) and Shareholder Agreements (SHA).

We are seeking individuals with 1-3 years of Investment Banking (IB) experience.

Key qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Candidates should possess the ability to collaborate effectively, providing services across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements. A practical approach to problem-solving, delivering insightful and actionable solutions is essential.
