EY is seeking a Consultant to join our Associate - SaT - AMI - SaT - TCF - Financial Diligence team in New Delhi. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving profitable growth by ensuring client engagements are executed with efficiency and professionalism. You will contribute to delivering exceptional client services while developing your expertise in a dynamic financial diligence environment.

Key responsibilities include conducting engagements professionally and according to client expectations and contract terms. You will prepare and file individual tax returns, e-TDS returns, draft submissions before tax authorities, and represent clients. Advising on outbound/inbound structuring for employee movement, and understanding immigration and provident fund implications for expatriates are also part of the role. You will collaborate effectively within the team, sharing knowledge and contributing to performance improvements. Operational responsibilities involve executing work within a group, adhering to work programs, firm methodologies, and professional standards. Efficiently using electronic working papers, software applications, and research sources is crucial. Developing technical competence, staying updated on trends, and applying this knowledge to complex situations are expected. You will analyze and convert data into accurate and timely tax products and ensure thorough document availability for tax inspections. Maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a cooperative attitude is paramount.

To excel in this role, a certified CA is required. We are looking for candidates with 0-1 year of relevant experience, making this position suitable for freshers or those early in their careers. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, coupled with strong analytical and numerical abilities, is key.
