This opportunity is within the Global Delivery Services (GDS) Risk Management Services (RMS) function, a rapidly growing Center of Excellence for standardized quality and compliance activities. You will be part of the largest sub-service function, Independence, which focuses on assisting EY professionals in maintaining auditor objectivity. The team operates across India, Poland, and the Philippines, working closely with Global Independence on key processes and development.

Contribute to EY's reputation as an independent auditor by supporting niche Independence profiles. You will collaborate with EY professionals to identify and assess personal independence-related risks, working with senior team members to resolve queries and gather information. This role is ideal for developing subject matter expertise in Independence processes within a dynamic and growing environment.

Develop a strong understanding of Personal Independence concepts, including financial interests, family, and business relationships. Execute established procedures aligned with EYG Independence policies and conduct necessary research. Update EY tools and databases to monitor financial and family relationships (e.g., securities, loans, insurance policies). Assist EY Professionals in identifying independence-related risks by analyzing their financial holdings and relationships. Determine adherence to relevant rules and regulations for both professionals and EY. Conduct research and analysis on financial interests and family relationships, including brokerage accounts, loans, and insurance policies, to assess investment permissibility. Collaborate with project managers for the timely completion of assigned work and participate in various projects. Deliver comprehensive testing support to regions and execute global Independence compliance processes according to EY Global policies and local requirements. Engage in team discussions, service functions, and organization-wide initiatives. Gather required information from diverse internal and external sources. Understand and strive to meet or exceed defined individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Build working knowledge of internal Independence tools managed by the team. Develop technical expertise in personal independence processes to potentially assume subject matter expert responsibilities.

A postgraduate degree, preferably in Finance, from a reputable institution is required. Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in research and analysis within a professional services firm. Exhibit well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Demonstrate a basic understanding of financial products such as equities, mutual funds, pension plans, and insurance policies. Proficiency in MS Office suites, including Outlook, MS Excel, Word, and SharePoint, is essential. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are vital for success in this role.
