Our CBS (Client Service Group) Finance team plays a crucial role in enabling EY's efficient operation. As an Associate in Controlling-General Accounting, your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing financial statements and maintaining books of accounts for daily commercial transactions. - Collaborating effectively with internal and external departments. - Preparing monthly and annual financial statements, as well as projected financial statements. - Managing the maintenance of the Fixed Assets Register. - Handling assignments related to Accounts and Tax, including working knowledge of Income Tax and GST provisions. - Leveraging advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting. - Working within an automated environment, preferably with SAP experience.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. - 2-3 years of experience in accounting, specifically handling day-to-day commercial transactions and preparing books of accounts. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. - Familiarity with working in an automated accounting environment, with SAP being a preference. - Prior experience in maintaining a Fixed Assets Register. - Working knowledge of Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST) provisions. - The ability to work collaboratively, adhering to commercial and legal requirements. - A practical and agile approach to problem-solving, delivering insightful and creative solutions.
