Join our dynamic team as a Network Operations II specialist, where you'll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of various networking protocols and troubleshooting methodologies to provide critical first-line support. You'll also be involved in configuring new data center builds and documenting procedures, ensuring seamless operations across departments.

As a key member of the Network Operations team, you will provide essential first-line support for all network-related issues. You will collaborate closely with Network Engineering to successfully implement data center builds, ensuring all configurations and documentation are accurate and easily digestible. Additionally, you'll handle routine hardware and software upgrades, contributing to the overall robustness and efficiency of our network systems.

Your duties will also extend to supporting the specific technological requirements of other teams, leveraging your networking acumen to foster cross-functional collaboration. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of network performance and reliability.

We are seeking candidates with a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of two years of technical experience in network, security, and transport-related domains is essential.

Key qualifications include a strong understanding of routing and switching technologies within datacenter networks, and demonstrated expertise in the TCP/IP protocol suite. Fundamental knowledge of transport, network, and internet routing concepts, along with security policies and peering, specifically BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, and DWMD, is required. Experience with Cisco product lines (IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, NXOS) and a solid grasp of firewall technologies are also necessary. Familiarity with Cisco Campus and VXLAN environments, along with network and information security practices, is beneficial.

Candidates should possess working knowledge of Layer 3 routing protocols like BGP and EIGRP, and experience with Linux. The ability to work non-traditional hours, including occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays, is a requirement for this role. A CCNA certification is preferred.
