Responsibilities

Precisely code medical records using ICD-10 and CPT, adhering to SLAKnow and HIPAA regulations.

Interpret and evaluate medical data, querying discrepancies to supervisors when necessary.

Meet quality, productivity, and deadline standards, including reporting discharge dispositions according to CMS rules.

Apply CPT coding conventions and official guidelines for outpatient encounters. Assign appropriate discharge physician information and maintain minimum data standards for accuracy and productivity as per defined KRAs/Client SLAs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences or Allied Medicine (e.g., BHMS, BAMS, BPT, Dental Grads, Pharmacist, Nursing).

Possess a Certified Coder credential (AAPC/AHIMA - CCS/CPC/CPC-H/CCS-P).

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.

Understanding of medication interpretation and dosages, coupled with excellent English communication skills.
