This role is ideal for junior candidates with a strong foundation in manual testing. Responsibilities include designing, writing, and executing test cases for applications, alongside performing functional, UI, regression, and smoke testing. Effective collaboration with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and address concerns is key. Participation in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, is also expected. Support for release activities and maintaining test documentation are integral parts of this role.
Key responsibilities involve understanding and analyzing project requirements and acceptance criteria. You will design, write, and execute manual test cases for applications, performing functional, UI, regression, and smoke testing. Identifying, logging, tracking, and verifying defects throughout their lifecycle is essential. Preparing and managing test data for execution, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and raise concerns are also vital. Participation in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, along with supporting release activities and maintaining test documentation, will be part of your role. Continuous contribution to improving testing processes and efficiency is encouraged.
We are seeking individuals with approximately 1 year of hands-on experience in manual testing. A foundational understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is necessary. You should possess a strong grasp of requirement analysis, test case preparation, and execution. Basic knowledge of API manual testing using tools like Postman is beneficial. Exposure to test management tools such as Jira, Xray, or TestLink is considered a plus. Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-device testing, along with basic knowledge of the e-commerce domain, is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think logically are important. Clear communication and effective teamwork are expected. A proactive approach to assigned tasks, a commitment to meeting deadlines, and a genuine eagerness to learn and advance within the testing field are highly valued.
