This Associate Engineer role focuses on backend development, requiring expertise in Java and Spring Boot. The position is for Level 12 within ACS Song at Accenture.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong grasp of object-oriented programming, backend development, and modern software engineering practices. You will contribute clean, scalable code and collaborate across teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Possess strong development skills in Java 11 or higher, with a solid foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, problem-solving, and logical/analytical abilities.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot, including developing and maintaining backend services and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with logging frameworks (SLF4J/LogBack/Log4j) and experience writing Junit test cases using Mockito/Power Mock frameworks are essential.

Exhibit a solid understanding of OOPS concepts and fundamental design principles like SOLID and DRY. Possess sound knowledge of concepts such as Exception handling, Serialization/Deserialization, and Immutability, along with fundamental knowledge in Enums, Collections, Annotations, Generics, and Autoboxing.

Have a basic understanding of multi-threading concepts, with familiarity with Java's Concurrent package (hands-on experience is a plus). Basic knowledge of Java Memory Management (JMM), including garbage collection concepts, is required.

Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries is necessary. Hands-on experience creating and consuming RESTful web services is also crucial. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and any cloud technology is beneficial.

Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube and code management tools is expected. Basic awareness of caching concepts like in-memory caching is desirable (hands-on experience is a plus).
