Seeking a seasoned Associate Director to lead Quality Engineering initiatives in Chennai. This pivotal role involves defining and executing comprehensive software testing strategies for large-scale programs and portfolios, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that drive significant business outcomes.

Emphasis will be placed on continuously enhancing test quality, meticulous test case review, and achieving critical first-time change success metrics. The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the FX electronic trading domain.

You will champion automation efforts, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and evaluating performance testing capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to significantly impact testing methodologies and tool adoption, including cutting-edge AI-assisted testing solutions.

- Define and lead software testing strategies for program/portfolio level solutions. - Develop test strategies, test plans, and continuously improve test quality. - Review test cases for all changes and ensure testing outcomes meet targets. - Lead test planning and test case design for complex, multi-team features. - Drive automation testing efforts and ensure enterprise coverage requirements are met. - Assess and improve performance testing packs for future readiness. - Execute all levels of testing: System, Integration, and Regression. - Provide domain/functional expertise in FX electronic trading applications. - Support and mentor teams on application functional aspects. - Evaluate and migrate regression testing tools to strategic enterprise frameworks. - Oversee end-to-end test strategy, creation, and adherence across integrated teams. - Analyze production stability and identify testing process improvements. - Drive adoption of enterprise AI-assisted testing tools and prompt engineering techniques. - Conduct cross-training for testing resources. - Respond to business user queries on application functionality. - Assess and escalate testing risks with mitigation plans. - Perform root cause analysis and lead defect triage.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 12 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a lead capacity.

Possess deep subject matter expertise in FX products, including FX SPOT, FX Forward, FX Swap, and NDF. A strong understanding of FX market data, venues, algorithms, electronic trading components, market making, and agency-based workflows is essential.

Familiarity with distributed systems components like messaging, caching, and multicast is crucial. Proficiency in driving various testing types (functional, regression, load, performance, latency) and strong observability skills for log analysis are required.

Experience with UNIX commands, AI-assisted testing tools, prompt engineering, and CI/CD flows is expected. Experience with multi-dealer platforms like FxAll and automation testing frameworks is a plus. Basic understanding of C++ or Java is beneficial.
