We are seeking an Associate Director to lead our efforts in transforming and optimizing data platforms. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of our data infrastructure.

Spearhead the design, implementation, and modernization of Cloudera-based data platforms. Define scalable architectures for large-scale data processing, ingestion, and analytics. Lead enterprise data migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives. Oversee data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics workloads.

Establish and enforce data governance, security, quality, and compliance standards. Ensure data platforms deliver high availability and operational excellence. Drive adoption of cloud platforms and modern data lake architectures. Provide technical direction across Big Data, analytics, and platform engineering.

Lead, mentor, and develop data engineering and platform teams. Collaborate with business, product, and technology stakeholders. Manage the delivery of enterprise-scale data platform and analytics programs. Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance data capabilities and business value.

A minimum of 9 to 12 years of overall IT experience is required, with at least 5 years focused on Big Data and Cloudera ecosystems. Proficiency in Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and related technologies is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in Big Data architecture, large-scale data processing, and designing data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines. Strong SQL skills are necessary, along with experience in programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is also important.

Experience leading enterprise data transformation, migration, and modernization programs is key. A solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance is expected. Proven experience in managing and mentoring data engineering and platform teams, coupled with strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities, will be critical for success in this role.
