Key responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining Oracle databases (versions 11g through 19c+), performing advanced performance tuning, and implementing robust backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Guard, and GoldenGate. You will also manage database security, conduct upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime, and optimize storage and indexing. On the cloud front, you'll design and build cloud-native solutions on OCI, Azure, or AWS, migrate on-prem databases to the cloud, and implement Infrastructure as Code. Automation of database tasks using scripting languages and setting up comprehensive monitoring systems are also integral parts of this role.

We seek candidates with a minimum of 15 years of hands-on Oracle DBA and development experience, demonstrating strong expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, PL/SQL, performance tuning (AWR, ASH, SQL Tuning Advisor), and RMAN. Proven experience with OCI, AWS, or Azure cloud environments is essential. A solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management, coupled with strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell, is required. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are vital for collaborating effectively within agile, fast-paced settings. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools.
