The Direct Tax team assists businesses with income tax compliance, statutory reporting, and provides expert advice on domestic tax issues. As a key member of the Global Business Tax Team, you will be responsible for a range of critical functions. This includes overseeing all tax advisory engagements and delivering expert opinions and solutions for daily client tax matters.

You will also supervise tax compliance activities, such as tax return filings, withholding tax statements, and advance tax provisions. Managing tax assessment and litigation proceedings before various tax authorities, including representations and review of responses, will be a core duty.

Further responsibilities involve training and mentoring managers and executives to enhance team capabilities and professional development. You will also drive business development, identify new opportunities, and contribute to firm-wide eminence programs and thought leadership initiatives.

This role requires a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Direct Taxation. A strong foundation in technical tax knowledge, coupled with sharp analytical skills and conceptual clarity, is essential.
