Join our Forensic & Financial Crime team as an Associate Director in Bengaluru. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their most complex challenges by delivering strategy and implementation from both business and technology perspectives.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within Deloitte's esteemed Risk Regulatory & Forensic Practice. You will be instrumental in driving transformation and fostering leadership within a dynamic and impactful team environment.
As an Associate Director, you will cultivate strong client relationships and exceed expectations. Your role involves gaining in-depth knowledge of diverse business processes, conducting comprehensive industry research, and developing expertise across various sectors.
You will evaluate client fraud risks, analyze their impact on organizations, and apply research and analytical skills to engagements. This includes reviewing financial statements, emails, and documents, as well as collaborating with clients and external sources to detect and prevent fraud.
Further responsibilities include analyzing legal documents, communicating findings to team members, and developing a keen understanding of financial analysis impacts. You'll cultivate an analytical mindset to identify trends and gaps in data, perform qualitative and quantitative financial and documentary analyses, and present findings clearly.
Effectively manage and deliver within a complex team setting, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. Active participation in team and client meetings is expected, along with potential domestic and international travel. Organizing and structuring observations for client deliverables is crucial.
To be considered for this role, you should possess a strong professional background with at least 6 years of relevant experience. A graduate degree or CA qualification is required. Prior experience in Statutory Audit or Internal Audit is essential.
While not mandatory, prior forensic experience or a professional qualification in fraud examination would be a significant advantage. You should demonstrate a solid understanding of business processes and controls.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written in English, are vital. A strong academic track record, coupled with exceptional report writing and reviewing skills, is expected. A keen eye for detail, conciseness, and risk management is paramount.
Proficiency in Excel for quick and accurate data manipulation is a must. You should possess a strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving. Adaptability in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines is key.
