Join our Deal Transformation and Post Merger Integration & Separation team in Mumbai as an Associate Director. This role is crucial in navigating the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and divestitures for financial services clients, predominantly in the banking sector.

We focus on end-to-end solutions for successful transactions, from advanced planning to post-transaction restructuring, driving performance across key M&A functions like project management, operations, IT, and human capital.

You will contribute directly to engagement teams, assisting financial services clients with organization readiness for integration or carve-outs in M&A scenarios.

Key responsibilities include: - Developing separation strategies and assessing readiness. - Evaluating financial and operational interdependencies. - Defining target operating models and governance for restructured entities. - Managing Separation Management Offices (SMO) and assessing TSA requirements. - Assessing synergy/dis-synergy potential and defining roadmaps for realization. - Undertaking detailed functional integration planning for Day 1/100 and end-state scenarios.

We are seeking candidates with demonstrable experience in large transformations, including pre-deal or post-deal M&A transactions within the FS/banking domain. A solid understanding of the banking value chain and experience within its functions is essential.

Ideal candidates will possess: - 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably banking. - A strong interest in consulting. - Excellent academic credentials, with an MBA being preferred. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. - Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior team members. - A proactive attitude and willingness to learn independently.
