We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director for RCM Operations to spearhead large-scale back-office functions and drive end-to-end revenue cycle success. This role offers a unique opportunity to link operational performance with upstream RCM drivers, influence cross-functional teams, and achieve significant improvements in cash collections, AR days, denial rates, and net revenue realization. The ideal candidate possesses extensive RCM expertise, a strong focus on cost and efficiency, and the ability to leverage automation, analytics, and AI for operational transformation.
Oversee and enhance key RCM outcomes including cash collections, AR days, denial rates, and revenue leakage reduction. Lead large-scale back-office RCM teams (AR follow-ups, denials, payment posting, coding support). Ensure high performance in productivity, quality, and SLA adherence. Drive operational rigor and standardization. Collaborate with front and mid-cycle teams to address upstream issues impacting back-end results, establishing a closed-loop feedback mechanism to fix process gaps at their source. Leverage RCM domain expertise and data analytics to diagnose systemic issues, identify revenue leakage, and provide actionable insights. Drive cost optimization initiatives, focusing on productivity, process simplification, and automation adoption. Implement automation and AI-driven solutions for intelligent AR prioritization and denial prevention. Engage with clients and stakeholders as a value-driven partner, leading governance discussions on metrics, insights, and continuous improvement. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and standardize best practices across accounts. Develop and lead large teams (300-500+ FTEs), fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and capability building. Manage transition and change initiatives for offshore/global delivery, ensuring outcome continuity. Ensure adherence to SLAs, HIPAA compliance, and internal controls, proactively mitigating risks.
A graduate degree is required, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 12 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM or BPO operations is essential. Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale back-office operations (300-500+ FTEs) is a must. Solid understanding of the end-to-end RCM lifecycle and key performance metrics is critical. Preferred qualifications include Lean Six Sigma certification, experience in transformation or automation programs, and exposure to analytics and digital RCM solutions.
