We are seeking a seasoned Quality Engineering leader to spearhead testing strategies and drive quality transformation across diverse programs and client engagements. This role demands a strong foundation in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Agile methodologies, and effective team leadership. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and scaling high-performing QA teams to ensure successful project delivery and outcomes.

As an Associate Director, you will define and implement Quality Engineering strategies, establish robust testing governance, and lead initiatives for automation, shift-left testing, and AI-assisted testing adoption. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvement through insightful quality metrics and process optimization, ensuring excellence in end-to-end testing delivery for large-scale programs.

This leadership position involves managing testing across Agile and Waterfall environments, overseeing test planning, resourcing, risk management, and reporting. You will be the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, presenting delivery status, quality metrics, and strategic recommendations to leadership teams. Collaboration with Business, Product, Development, and Architecture teams is key to defining quality objectives and ensuring alignment.

Define and champion Quality Engineering strategy across multiple projects and portfolios, establishing governance, standards, and best practices. Lead transformation initiatives, including automation, shift-left testing, and AI-assisted testing adoption, driving continuous improvement through defect analytics and process optimization.

Oversee end-to-end testing delivery for large-scale programs within Agile and Waterfall frameworks. Manage test planning, estimation, resourcing, risk assessment, and reporting, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and budget commitments. Proactively identify and escalate issues, managing resolutions effectively.

Drive the adoption of advanced test automation frameworks for UI, API, ETL, and mobile applications. Promote CI/CD integration, DevOps practices, and continuous testing, supporting solutions for cloud-native testing, service virtualization, and test data management. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI-driven testing solutions.

Build, mentor, and manage high-performing QA teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Conduct performance reviews, support career development, and drive capability-building initiatives.

A minimum of 10–15 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering is required, with proven success leading large QA teams and managing multiple concurrent programs. A strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices is essential.

Expertise in Test Automation, API Testing, Data Testing, and Performance Testing is crucial. Proficiency with test management and defect management tools is expected, alongside strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Telecom, or Retail domains is preferred.
