This role is ideal for an adaptable and inquisitive individual who thrives on challenging work and can independently drive initiatives. You will engage with senior stakeholders and be responsible for delivering high-quality actuarial insights.

Manage a diverse range of actuarial functions including valuation, business planning, and financial reporting. Provide expertise in Solvency II or IFRS 17, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks. Collaborate with model owners to challenge and validate actuarial models. Communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

Take ownership of assigned actuarial tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Work independently, taking guidance from senior team members while maintaining accountability for your work. Contribute to the strategic direction of the actuarial practice within the firm.

Must be a fully or nearly qualified life actuary. Possess 7-12 years of relevant actuarial experience. Expertise in at least one of Solvency II or IFRS 17 for a minimum of 2 years is essential. Experience across various actuarial domains such as valuation, business planning, financial reporting, pricing, and experience analysis is required.

Demonstrate technical strength and the ability to challenge model owners. Excellent oral and written communication skills are critical for stakeholder engagement. Proficiency with Prophet software is necessary (user capacity is sufficient). Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving project needs is key. This position is not suitable for individuals who prefer strictly structured, process-driven work.
