Job description

EY seeks a Consultant for its Forensics, Investigations, and Disputes (FIDS) team. This role involves leading and executing client engagements focused on financial fraud investigations, compliance reviews, and dispute resolution support. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and a keen understanding of client business landscapes.

Responsibilities

Execute client engagements with a focus on delivering high-quality results aligned with engagement letters. Ensure adherence to the firm's risk management strategies and activities.

Understand and analyze business and industry trends to identify client process improvements and develop actionable recommendations. Apply a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and conduct thorough research for effective delivery.

Review working papers and client files, contributing ideas to enhance engagement productivity and client service. Manage engagement budgets and support senior colleagues in developing marketing collateral, business proposals, and new solution methodologies.

Collaborate effectively within internal teams, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture and continuously improving work processes. Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in forensic investigation, risk advisory, internal audits, or process diagnostics reviews.

Essential qualifications include being a Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Master's in Business Administration, Certified Fraud Examiner, or an LLB. Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and report-writing skills are crucial.

Preferred experience includes working with any of the Big 4 firms, Tier 2 firms, or large corporate internal audit teams. You should also demonstrate strong facilitation, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.

Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity are highly valued, along with a willingness to travel to meet client demands. A practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to deliver insightful solutions are key attributes.
