Job description

EY seeks a Consultant for its Financial Investigations, Disputes, and Disputes (FIDS) team. This role involves leading client engagements focused on financial fraud investigations, including asset tracing, money laundering, ethics violations, regulatory inquiries, and open-source intelligence gathering. The position also covers FCPA/UKBA compliance reviews, fraud risk assessments, and supporting dispute resolution with financial issue analysis.

A strong command of interpersonal communication, excellent report writing abilities, and a keen understanding of client business dynamics are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Ensure the high-quality execution of client engagements, strictly adhering to the terms outlined in engagement letters. Maintain compliance with the firm's risk management strategies, plans, and activities. Develop a deep understanding of business and industry trends to identify areas for client process improvement and formulate actionable recommendations.

Employ a practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, utilizing research to deliver effective solutions. Critically review working papers and client files, proposing enhancements to engagement productivity and client service delivery. Manage engagement budgets and assist superiors in creating marketing collateral, business proposals, and developing new solutions or methodologies.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Master's in Business Administration, Certified Fraud Examiner, or LLB. A minimum of 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in forensic investigation, risk advisory, internal audits, process diagnostics reviews, or related fields is required.

Preferred candidates will have prior experience with Big 4 or Tier 2 firms, or within large corporate internal audit teams. Essential attributes include strong communication, presentation, facilitation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and a willingness to travel are also key requirements for this position.
