EY is seeking an Associate Consultant with a focus on Business Consulting Risk within the Financial Services sector, specializing in Process & Controls. This role is based in Bangalore and is for a 6-month contract.

This role involves investigating AML and Transaction Monitoring alerts, handling SAR and STR filings, and requires experience with UK market/banking exposure. You will analyze transactions, identify red flags, and understand RFI (Request for Information) requirements, corresponding with Relationship Managers.

Key responsibilities include performing transaction analysis, identifying potential risks, and documenting findings. You will also work as either a maker/analyst or a checker/QC, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

The position requires a willingness to work in morning/afternoon shifts. While hybrid work is a possibility, candidates must be open to 100% Work From Office as needed.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), or a Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Required experience includes a minimum of 3 years in Business Analysis and 3 years in Quality Assurance & Testing. Strong knowledge of alert typologies, scenarios, and transaction analysis is essential.
