Our Actuarial team provides expert advice on a range of critical areas including reserving, pricing, M&A support, capital requirements, solvency frameworks, IFRS reporting, business planning, reinsurance, and regulatory compliance. Join a dynamic environment where your potential is limitless.
Execute complex projects within the actuarial domain, supporting diverse client engagements. Responsibilities include assisting with reserving, product development, pricing, statutory reporting, solvency assessment, IFRS17 implementation, and business planning.
Develop sophisticated Excel models tailored to client product features and regulatory requirements. Contribute to research initiatives on topics like Solvency II and IFRS17, providing valuable insights. Propose innovative solutions for new client engagements and foster best practices within the team.
Share knowledge effectively and contribute to the firm's growth by participating in writing articles and presenting technical expertise internally and externally. Maintain and enhance deep technical knowledge in Excel modeling and other relevant tools.
Candidates should possess proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines. A minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in General Insurance actuarial work and passing at least 4 actuarial exams are required.
We seek individuals who are self-motivated, outcome-focused, and adept at handling uncertainty with a constructive approach. A solid understanding of actuarial concepts and methodologies is essential. Working knowledge of tools such as R, Python, SAS, or SQL is advantageous.
Excellent communication, documentation, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills are vital. Flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and a collaborative spirit are highly valued. A practical, problem-solving mindset coupled with the ability to deliver insightful solutions is key to success in this role.
