As an Associate Consultant in Business Consulting, you will focus on the TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) sector, addressing industry convergence challenges and driving agile strategies. Our EY Consulting division transforms businesses through people, technology, and innovation, focusing on long-term client value. Within Business Consulting, we address strategic problems across areas like Performance Improvement and Risk Consulting. This includes reimagining business models, driving growth, managing costs, responding to market pressures, and resolving operational challenges through deep functional expertise in transformation, finance, supply chain, and operations.

Key responsibilities involve performing day-to-day Procure-to-Pay (PTP) activities, including accurate invoice and payment processing, resolving vendor queries, and conducting AP account reconciliations within agreed timelines. You will also process travel and expense claims, manage discrepancy resolution, and adhere to internal controls.

Additional duties include supporting month-end closing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to policies. You will also be responsible for monitoring aging documents to meet turnaround times, performing vendor statement reconciliations, investigating variances, and preparing AP Trial Balance reports. Generating and sharing remittance advice, as well as maintaining and archiving documents per retention policies, are also part of the role.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, complemented by 1-2 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes. A solid understanding of end-to-end PTP operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor management, is essential.

Ideal candidates will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a flexible attitude to achieve results. Proficiency in ERP platforms, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and analysis, is required. Experience in Financial Analysis for 3+ years is also a valued attribute.
