You will serve as a key internal and external consultant, building strong relationships with business leaders to deliver effective compensation solutions and enhance engagement. This involves collaborating with People Business Partners on complex projects and assisting leadership in designing and implementing competitive, cost-effective compensation programs.
Key duties include leading the annual compensation review process, managing complex compensation projects with minimal oversight, and driving mergers and acquisition due diligence and integration. You will also evaluate new job roles for appropriate titling and grading, stay updated on compensation best practices, and deliver training to managers and associates. Compliance with company policies is essential.
This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation, demonstrating strong business acumen and an understanding of people team practices. Essential expertise includes compensation theory and best practices, with a proven track record in leading complex, long-term projects to successful completion.
Candidates must possess a solid history of quickly establishing credibility and building relationships with both HR and senior business management. Excellent organizational and project management skills are crucial, enabling the management of multiple competing priorities. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is also expected.
