You will ensure client accounts adhere to requisite audit standards, provide clear perspectives to audit committees, and deliver critical information to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include supporting assurance engagements through financial statement review and providing accounting advisory input. You'll also engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements, discuss accounting positions, and align on deliverables, utilizing consulting skills for structured problem-solving and documenting accounting conclusions.

A strong understanding of IFRS and its practical application in financial reporting and accounting is essential. You should possess a solid foundation in technical accounting concepts, including the analysis of complex accounting issues. Experience in collaborating with diverse client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements is necessary.
