We are seeking an Associate Analyst in Risk Management Services (RMS) focusing on Global Monitoring Systems (GMS) to support global Independence processes. This role is crucial for safeguarding EY's independence by ensuring compliance with personal Independence policies and assisting professionals with their financial and personal relationships to identify potential conflicts of interest.

As part of the RMS team, you will contribute to the firm's reputation as an independent auditor. You'll work closely with EY professionals to mitigate their personal independence-related risks, providing a dynamic and growing environment. This position offers the chance to collaborate with senior team members and stakeholders, positioning you as a subject matter expert in critical Independence processes.

Develop a solid understanding of Personal Independence concepts, including financial interests, family, and business relationships. Execute established EYG Independence policies, conduct thorough research, and update vital EY tools and databases used for monitoring professional relationships. Effectively communicate with EY professionals and senior team members to resolve queries and gather necessary information.

Gain expertise in various internal Independence tools for recording financial and family relation data. Build a good understanding of financial products and markets like equities and funds, managing work requests from start to finish. Participate in a wide range of projects, collaborating with project managers for timely completion. Engage in team discussions and contribute to service functions and organization-wide initiatives, while consistently meeting and exceeding individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

A Masters or post-graduate degree, preferably in Finance, from a reputable institution is required. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in research and analysis within a professional services firm. Essential skills include well-developed analytical abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication in English. A basic understanding of financial products such as equities, mutual funds, pension plans, and insurance policies is also necessary. Proficiency in MS Office suites, including Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint, is expected.
