The opportunity is for an Assistant Manager/Manager - Assurance - FAAS, specializing in General Ledger/Sub-Ledger Implementation, based in Gurugram, Bengaluru, or Mumbai. This role is part of our National team, offering a well-rounded experience across various industries.

Our service offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury advisory.

Key responsibilities include providing technical excellence in supporting General Ledger and sub-ledger integration, accounting rules, posting logic, and reconciliation design. You will maintain ledger process maps and accounting treatment documentation, while assessing accounting impacts of product and process changes. This role involves supporting the design of target operating models and ledger architectures, and translating finance requirements into functional specifications.

Collaboration with Technology teams is essential to shape solution options and ensure designs meet non-functional requirements. You will also define and strengthen ledger controls, drive improvements to reconciliations and close efficiency, and support finance in robust period-end close processes. Ensuring solutions align with accounting standards and regulatory expectations, and supporting internal/external audits are also critical aspects of this role. Contribution to governance forums and obtaining appropriate approvals are also expected.

To qualify for this role, you should possess strong experience in ledger/finance change within a large bank, including GL, sub-ledgers, accounting rules, reconciliations, and close processes. A proven ability to lead end-to-end functional design and delivery across complex data flows and multiple source systems is required. You must have a strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and operational risk in a regulated environment. Experience with testing phases (SIT/UAT), including defining test strategy and supporting defect triage, is essential.

Desirable skills include exposure to IFRS/GAAP topics relevant to banking products, experience with ledger platforms and integration patterns, knowledge of data governance and lineage, and experience in large-scale transformation programs. You must hold a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA, or an equivalent, and possess at least 4 years of strong relevant experience.
