Join our dynamic team as a Sr. QA Automation Engineer in Bengaluru, contributing to our Engineering as a Service and Operate functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through advanced automation strategies.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for building robust test frameworks and driving continuous improvement in our quality assurance processes. Your expertise will directly impact the success of our product delivery and operational excellence.

Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated automation test frameworks leveraging tools like Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, and Cypress. Build and execute comprehensive API automation tests utilizing Rest Assured, and perform critical data validation and SQL-based testing. Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Conduct a diverse range of testing types, including unit, integration, API, smoke, system, and performance testing. Effectively manage test data, plan test strategies, and execute tests across complex data and cloud environments. Work proficiently with Oracle, SQL Server, and ETL tools, while also exploring AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to enhance testing efficiency. Foster strong collaboration with developers, data engineers, and product owners within an agile team structure.

A minimum of 7 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer is required. A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is expected, with qualifications such as BCA, B.Tech, BSC, MCA, M.Tech, or MSC being suitable.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Cypress, and Java, complemented by experience in API automation using Rest Assured and API testing with Postman. Solid skills in SQL queries and data validation across relational databases are essential. Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and in-sprint test automation are crucial.

Possess working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and data warehouse architectures. A proven track record of owning QA deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to release, is necessary. Strong experience in both test automation and hands-on manual QA is valued. Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools is a significant advantage.

Experience working within agile delivery teams and the ability to lead, mentor, and manage offshore QA engineers are key. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, debugging, documentation, and presentation skills are required. You should be adept at providing clear and structured project and quality updates to management.
