Seeking a seasoned Assistant Manager with expertise as a Scrum Master to join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team in Pune. This role is crucial for leading project execution, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, and facilitating smooth project delivery within a dynamic engineering environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Scrum/Agile frameworks and a proven track record of managing complex projects.

As a key contributor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of software and IT projects. This includes developing, analyzing, and executing project plans, scope, and schedules. Collaboration with internal customers, third-party vendors, and senior management is paramount to success.

Drive project execution from initiation through completion, managing large-scale initiatives effectively. Develop, analyze, and manage detailed project plans, including schedules and resource forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Oversee project financials, monitor overall project performance against plan (on time, on budget, within scope, and with quality), and implement necessary adjustments. Manage organizational change management activities, including user adoption and training plans, ensuring seamless project integration.

Ensure strict adherence to established processes and policies, including SDLC and domain standards. Drive resource allocation, establish schedules, and assign tasks to maintain robust project management practices. Lead and manage project teams, aligning team member skills with project demands, and foster a collaborative environment.

Proactively identify and manage project risks, monitor compliance with policies and procedures, and build strong rapport with diverse stakeholders. Provide key insights to stakeholders and sponsors by defining project goals, prioritizing deliverables, and facilitating critical decisions for successful project delivery. Coordinate release activities across multiple teams and ensure accountability for the Definition of Done.

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is required, coupled with a minimum of six years of IT or related business experience. Alternatively, three additional years of equivalent work experience can substitute for the degree requirement, totaling nine years of experience.

Demonstrate at least five years of experience managing projects using standard methodologies like SDLC and process management. Two years of experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate setting, preferably with mobile implementations, is essential. Additionally, possess three years of experience in project budget management and three years as a Scrum Master.

Preferred qualifications include three years of experience on projects requiring cross-functional technology and business solution integration. Experience with ITIL and ITSM frameworks, along with four years in business analysis and three years in a large matrixed organization, is highly valued. Four years of experience with Microsoft Project and infrastructure implementation, alongside a PMP or CSM certification, will strengthen your application.
