As an Assistant Manager in SAP Variance Configuration, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining sophisticated VC models. Your expertise will ensure precise product structures and seamless integration across various SAP modules and other enterprise systems. This position is based in Hyderabad, offering a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects.

Develop and maintain SAP Variant Configuration (VC) models for complex products, ensuring precise and accurate product structures. Establish and maintain object dependencies like procedures and constraints to control product configurations. Coordinate VC models across Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Materials Management (MM) for correct pricing, BOMs, and routing. Manage configuration profiles, characteristics, and classes. Collaborate with PLM systems and business stakeholders to translate technical requirements into SAP configuration logic. Ensure seamless integration with MES systems, VIN generation, and other critical software systems.

Your responsibilities will also include designing and developing end-to-end Workato integration solutions, configuring Workato environments, and creating reusable recipes. You will prepare technical design documents, conduct field mapping sessions, and perform end-to-end integration testing. Proactively identifying and fixing integration defects is essential. You will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, manage expectations, and provide post-implementation support, continuously optimizing integrations for performance and reliability.

A strong foundation in SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC or S/4HANA AVC) is essential. You should possess an in-depth understanding of classification systems (Class types 300, 200, 001) and hands-on experience with object dependencies, configuration profiles, characteristics, and class maintenance. The ability to generate complex reports using classes and characteristics, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is vital. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are required.

Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with 3 to 7 years of SAP experience specifically in VC. Expertise in SAP customization and RICEFW objects is highly valued. Experience with data migration, system integration projects, PLM, MES systems, and enterprise integrations is beneficial. Familiarity with testing activities and Go-Live support is also expected. Proficiency in Workato and its integration capabilities is a key requirement for this role.
