Seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to architect, build, and maintain cloud-based SAP solutions and integrations. This role requires a strong command of ABAP development, hands-on experience with SAP BTP services, and a comprehensive understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, extensions, integrations, and modern development methodologies.

The primary focus will be on developing robust and secure applications within SAP BTP, simultaneously supporting SAP S/4HANA enhancements, API development, integrations, and cloud extension strategies, all while adhering to SAP Clean Core principles.

Key responsibilities involve designing, developing, testing, and deploying SAP applications using ABAP on CloudRAP, CDS Views, OData Services, Fiori Applications, and SAP Business Application Studio. You will develop custom extensions for SAP S/4HANA using the SAP BTP Extension Suite, creating reusable services and APIs aligned with SAP best practices. Additionally, you'll develop and enhance reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and data conversion programs.

Responsibilities extend to designing and implementing side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, utilizing services like SAP CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Destination Services, Identity Authentication Services (IAS), Event Mesh, and Workflow Management. You'll also develop cloud-native applications, support BTP account setup, transport management, and deployment. Integration development includes designing and building interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using REST, SOAP, and OData APIs, and leveraging SAP Integration Suite and SAP API Management.

Furthermore, you will develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, HANA SQL Scripts, and Embedded Analytics, ensuring solutions meet high standards for performance, scalability, and security. This role also requires adherence to SAP Clean Core and SAP BTP development standards, conducting code reviews, supporting DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining technical documentation.

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience. A strong background of at least 2 years in SAP BTP development is essential, alongside proven experience with SAP S/4HANA development and extension frameworks. Experience in developing APIs and integrations using modern SAP technologies is also required.

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery methodologies is necessary. Prior experience working within manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain environments is advantageous. Technical proficiencies should include ABAP OO Programming, ABAP on CloudRAP Framework, CDS Views, OData Services, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP HANA Database, SAP Business Application Studio, Git-based source control, REST/SOAP APIs, and SAP Integration Suite.
