As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines using PySpark. This includes building and maintaining robust ETL/ELT workflows for diverse data types, and working with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring high code quality through rigorous reviews and best practices. Optimizing job performance, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to automation frameworks are also key aspects of this role.

Further responsibilities include participating in the full SDLC, from requirement analysis to deployment, and contributing to data modeling, transformation, and pipeline orchestration. You will also be involved in monitoring, logging, and resolving data processing challenges to ensure seamless operations.

We are seeking a skilled Developer with 4-8 years of hands-on PySpark experience and a Bachelor's degree in any specialization. Essential technical proficiencies include strong Python and PySpark skills, advanced SQL for querying and performance tuning, and experience with distributed data systems such as Hadoop and Spark. Familiarity with technologies like Impala, Hive, and SQL Server is beneficial. A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and ETL concepts is crucial.

Additional qualifications include knowledge of SDLC methodologies, proficiency with Git, and experience in production environments with large datasets. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Oozie) is advantageous.
