Seeking an Assistant Manager to lead engineering initiatives in Hyderabad. This role focuses on designing and operating scalable services within an "Engineering as a Service/Operate" framework.

Key responsibilities involve driving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the reliability and security of our cloud-hosted applications.

Architect scalable service boundaries and data flows, ensuring resilience and effective integration across systems. Develop and enforce high engineering standards, including clean code, secure practices, and robust testing strategies. Lead complex, multi-system projects from conception to delivery, managing dependencies and stakeholder alignment. Establish robust observability practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for production services. Mentor and guide engineers through constructive code reviews and technical decision-making.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in delivering production-ready Java services and APIs within enterprise environments is essential. Proven experience in team leadership, including sprint execution, mentoring, and technical guidance. Demonstrated ability to design and operate cloud-hosted applications with a focus on security, monitoring, and cost efficiency. Proficiency in system design, API and microservices architecture, cloud technologies (AWS), and SQL is required. Strong understanding of security fundamentals and performance optimization techniques is also necessary.
