We are seeking a leader with a proven track record in delivering robust, enterprise-grade Java services and APIs. Your responsibilities will extend to mentoring engineers, enforcing high-quality code and design standards, and ensuring the reliability and security of cloud-hosted applications.

Lead system design and architecture initiatives, defining scalable service boundaries, data flows, and resiliency patterns.

Apply deep expertise in Advanced Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise integration patterns to develop and optimize services.

Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices, adhering to best practices for versioning, error handling, and backward compatibility.

Utilize AWS primitives to design and deploy services, with a strong focus on cost, security, and reliability.

Enforce high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, promoting clean code, design principles, and secure coding practices.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the JVM, APIs, databases, and network calls.

Establish robust observability and reliability practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, and SLOs.

Champion security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, and secure API design.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience in delivering production Java services and APIs within enterprise environments.

Prior experience in team leadership, including sprint execution, technical mentoring, and cross-team coordination.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-system initiatives from initial design through successful delivery.

Proficiency in producing architecture artifacts and clearly communicating technical decisions to diverse audiences.

Experience designing and operating cloud-hosted applications, with a keen awareness of security, monitoring, and cost management.
