We are seeking a proactive individual with a strong background in Linux administration and a passion for system optimization and automation.

You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing Linux operating systems and associated tools, including handling system upgrades and patching.

Day-to-day operational support for VMware vSphere and Proxmox environments is key, alongside managing storage file shares like NFS/CIFS.

Monitoring system health and performance, diagnosing bottlenecks, and implementing security policies are also core duties. You will develop scripts for automation using Bash, Python, or Perl and leverage configuration management tools such as Ansible or Salt.

Providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with development, networking, and DevOps teams will be integral to your role. Maintaining comprehensive documentation for configurations and procedures is also expected.

A proven track record as a Linux Administrator in production environments is essential.

You should possess strong knowledge of Linux distributions, kernel concepts, file systems, and networking.

Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible and Salt, along with proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Perl), is highly valued.

Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Proxmox, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are beneficial.

A solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SSH, and firewall concepts is required, complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
