As an Assistant Manager, you will nurture client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service. Key responsibilities include advising on transaction structuring from tax and regulatory viewpoints, preparing integration schemes, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Your role will involve conceptualizing and presenting optimal ownership, investment, and funding structures for domestic and international investments, considering tax and regulatory efficiency. You will also assist in corporate and group restructurings, including the implementation of Schemes of Arrangement and obtaining necessary approvals.
Furthermore, you will conduct Direct Tax Due Diligence for both buy and sell-side mandates, identifying and quantifying potential tax exposures and benefits. Reviewing transactional documents, preparing business development pitches, and conducting diagnostic reviews for cash repatriation are also integral parts of this role.
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-2 years of experience specifically in M&A Taxation. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and presentation skills, enabling effective client interaction and team collaboration.
Persistence and persuasiveness are crucial for navigating complex negotiations and client discussions. This position requires occasional travel to client locations to facilitate on-site support and engagement. A solid understanding of relevant tax and regulatory laws, including Income-tax Act, Companies Act, and FEMA, is essential.
