Join our dynamic SRT Growth office team as an Assistant Manager in Legal (Contracts). This pivotal role involves strategic planning and execution of new initiatives, understanding market dynamics, and driving key workstreams. You'll leverage your expertise in business strategy, data analysis, and stakeholder communication to deliver impactful insights and manage project performance.
We are seeking a professional with a strong background in contract law and a keen eye for legal and business risks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our practice and enhance our contract management frameworks.
Your core responsibilities will include reviewing a wide range of agreements such as services contracts, MSAs, GMSAs, JV agreements, and tender documents to identify potential risks. You will be instrumental in drafting and negotiating contract terms, advising the business on contractual obligations, and overseeing the legal implications of critical engagements.
Key duties also involve assisting in the standardization of engagement documents, policy revisions, and leading negotiation efforts. You'll support quality and risk management for internal compliances, update standard templates with policy changes, and develop various contractual formats like MOUs and JVs. Continuous improvement of standard agreements and training engagement teams on contractual issues are also part of this role.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree and approximately 3-5 years of experience in contract management.
Essential skills include a solid understanding of fundamental Indian law, the ability to interpret and apply legal regulations, and strong analytical skills for assessing facts and drawing logical conclusions. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are crucial for drafting legal clauses, contracts, and reports. Proficiency in relevant technological tools is also expected.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can stay updated on legal developments, including court pronouncements and arbitration law amendments, particularly those impacting our operations.
